Dior Homme Intense is the warmer, deeper version of Dior Homme, the men's fragrance famous for its powdery iris. Dior's perfumer François Demachy built it on the same iris base and made it richer, a scent meant to be worn like evening attire. It first appeared in 2007 and was reworked in 2011, the version most fans know today. Lavender opens it, a soft, powdery heart of iris and ambrette seed follows, and vetiver with cedar gives a smooth woody finish. The sleek bottle is a thick block of glass pierced by a black steel tube, with a translucent black cap. Eau de parfum, 100 ml.
