Why it is sought after

Created by perfumers Harry Fremont and Richard Herpin of Firmenich, Lauren Style was meant to capture the polish of suede in a sweet, mellow bouquet. It ended up as one of Ralph Lauren's quieter successes, and when it was withdrawn its wearers were left without a substitute. This bottle offers the large 125 ml size.

The scent

Citrus, kumquat and violet leaves sparkle at the start, then jasmine, magnolia, tuberose and Tahitian gardenia, wrapped in patchouli, white musk, woods, suede and French vanilla.

  • Top notes: orange blossom, mandarin, kumquat, violet leaves, lime
  • Heart notes: jasmine, magnolia, tuberose, gardenia
  • Base notes: patchouli, white musk, woods, suede, vanilla
