Ralph Lauren Chaps Eau de Cologne 55ml
Chaps was introduced in 1979 by Ralph Lauren, in association with Warner Cosmetics, as a men's fragrance named after the designer's Chaps line. A perfume encyclopaedia classifies it as a woody oriental aromatic fougère: citrus notes of bergamot and lime open it with a crisp, clean brightness, anise adds an aromatic twist, and honey, oakmoss and musk give a warm, mossy and slightly sweet base. Crisp yet warm, it suits the office, weekends and cooler days. Splash or spray it on after shaving. Eau de cologne, 55 ml.
Why people hunt for perfumes like this
- It was their signature scent, and the last bottle is nearly empty.
- It belongs to a time, a place or a person they remember.
- Newer perfumes rarely smell quite the same.
