Why it is sought after
Bvlgari's tea colognes began with Thé Vert in 1992 and became a cult series. Thé Noir, inspired by millennial Chinese black tea, was the darkest and most luxurious of them, with a touch of oud. Tea lovers who discovered it often say no other tea scent comes close.
The scent
Bergamot and rose open onto black tea and magnolia, with patchouli and oud warming the base.
- Key notes: bergamot, rose, black tea, magnolia, oud, patchouli
Good to know
Created by perfumer Jacques Cavallier.
Why people hunt for perfumes like this
- It was their signature scent, and the last bottle is nearly empty.
- It belongs to a time, a place or a person they remember.
- Newer perfumes rarely smell quite the same.
