Armani Code Ultimate was launched by Giorgio Armani in 2012 as a flanker to the 2004 Armani Code for men, described by the house as a more luxurious, intense and sensual dimension of Code. Perfumer Antoine Maisondieu of Givaudan composed it as a woody oriental: grapefruit and mandarin open with citrus brightness, star anise, Atlas cedar, cypress, olive blossom and heliotrope form the heart, and vanilla, tonka bean and guaiac wood give a smooth, warm dry-down.
